Dangerously underrated!

Make sure to unite your local and global teams for achieving your business goals in Japan. Otherwise, it will not work.

What does it mean?

Many companies are business experts in their home markets of the Americas or Europe because it is their home ground.

Taking the step to Asia is where the confusion starts. The first thing is that each country in Asia has a different culture, and Japan cannot be further away from the rest of Asia from the cultural and business point of view.

Many companies operate on a regional or semi-global scale. Then they start their engagement in Asia, including Japan. The basic assumption is that what worked in the Americas or Europe will automatically work in Japan. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
